Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Durham Southpoint

Nice hotel, very clean and very friendly staff. My only complaint would be the internet connection. It seemed to be limited to 1-2 connections per room, which is hard when traveling with a group of 4 people

Nice hotel that was convenient to the highway. They put us on the top floor and it was quiet once we got in the room. It was a court yard style and the walkway around the open middle was a bit loud. We had our baby with us and they gave us a room with space for setting up the crib. Overall very happy with the room. Breakfast was good too and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We didn’t need it but there was a Target, Aldi, Chic-Filia and gas station all right there. So a good location if you need that conviene. Nice stay for passing through.

Wonderful experience, mainly because Nettie was so incredibly kind and welcoming even at our middle-of-the-night arrival. Highly recommend. Hotel and rooms were very nice. Would gladly stay here again. Plus, continental breakfast included is always a win!

I was nearby and needed to use the restroom, and I really didn’t want to use a gas station one, so I stopped at this hotel instead. The lobby was super clean, and the restroom was just as nice. Shoutout to housekeeping because everything looked great. If they keep the public bathrooms this clean in the middle of the day, I’m sure the rooms are even better.

Best thing about our stay was Deena at the front desk. She went above and beyond at check in and when we needed extra assistance. Thank you, Deena! The hotel was nice, breakfast was excellent (the hot proteins and the oatmeal bar were great), and location was great. Rooms show some wear and tear but were comfortable. Would stay here again.

Mr. Alex is a great host and bartender, 10/10, makes sure you are straight at all times, gives you another drink whenever you least expect it!

I have stayed at several different Marriott properties in the Durham area, and this is one of my favorites. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are very clean. I especially like the well stocked and tidy breakfast buffet. All of the bakery items and fruits are wrapped. All of the silverware is wrapped. The buffet features scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, French toast sticks, waffle iron, oatmeal station, fresh fruit, cold milk and yogurt, breads, muffins and a toaster. The indoor pool and small exercise room were nice additions. There is a Bonefish Grille, and Town Hall Burger Pub both right across the highway for convenient and tasty dinner options. Also a Circle K convenience store and ChickFilA next door.

We stayed here with about 15 High school students during a weekend competition. The staff was so helpful and nice. Ellie made sure we had everything, including designated places for us to park our activity busses. We will definitely bring our group back here again!
